| Jim Nakagawa began his photographic career in Vancouver, B.C. as a free-lance still photographer and film cameraman working for UPI Canada, Time Canada, CBC Vancouver, and others.
From 1975 to 79, Jim was a contract film cameraman for CBC Calgary, shooting News, Public Affairs, and Sports. From the 80s until today, he has worked as a freelance video and film camera operator. Jim has had a breadth of experience shooting broadcast, corporate and industrial project for numerous production companies and broadcasters.
Jim is equipped with Sony DVCam (DSR500WS & PD170) and a full compliment of audio and lighting equipment and is able to provide additional crew members for support. He also shoots double-enders, live to air Bang Box (feed site) or live to tape, and provides teleprompter services.
